All classes are one-on-one training or small groups of
people who know each other. 

In short
I teach and instruct photography, processing, printing,
file management, studio lighting, location lighting, and 
photography business
classes.

I have a solid professional rep and more importantly, we plan and
develop strategies that meet your objectives. 
Whether it's learning the controls of the camera
or wanting to understand the finer points of
 professional level
lighting.




Class Descriptions

Introductory Photography
Learn the controls on the camera. Learn how to
evaluate light and capture accurate exposures
every time. We'll also start you on your
creative path with introductions to 
composition and processing.

Intermediate Photography
The move the manual photography. There are times when
the camera has no clue as to what you want to
achieve. So, we move to manual settings 
to configure and capture our visions. This
class steps up with more feed back and
delves deeper into composition
and the nature of strong images.

The Night Shoot
Spend two sessions learning how to photograph
landscapes at night. The first session is how to photograph
for the night, and in the next we get together and
I'll show you how to process and reveal your
creations. Each sessions runs about two hours, but 
we usually hang out until everyone gets a
good shot.

The Macro Class
This is a three hour workshop where we cover
the techniques and strategies to capture the small world.
there are settings that work better for stills and some
that work better for insects in motion. We also cover
elements of composition and techniques
to reveal the deep and rich textures that thrive
in the small world.





The Class on Color
This is a three hour workshop where we cover the
dynamics of color from capture in the camera to printing.
The complicated processes of color gamuts and designations
are explained in easy to understand detail. Also, I'll show
what settings can be set once and forgotten, and which
settings need occasional fine tuning. The final plan is a
strategy that takes only minutes a month to maintain, and
you can learn it all in a fun afternoon.

Processing 101 for Photoshop.
Learn how to use adjustment layers for
brightness, contrast, saturation and a host
of other Photoshop features. Spend some time
and we'll traverse the true power of
Photoshop through the use of masks and layers. And finally,
learn how to process relative to the image - the dos and don'ts of processing
and learning how to pop your images.





Black and White - How to Improve 
Your Photography through Impact.
This is a three hour workshop on Black and White conversions and
how to add impact by managing tones and
design elements.
Bring your laptops, hook up to the table outlets, and
I'll show you to pop your images.

The Off-Camera Flash Class
A four session excursion into studio lighting.
Learn the basics of flash photography, how to control
light fall off, light ratios, and the quality of light
through light modifiers. More importantly,
use my stuff to learn and explore. This class
uses the Godox Lighting system and supports
Nikon, Canon, Fuji, and Sony.





The Infrared Class
This is a two day workshop on photography and processing
the infrared light spectrum. The class
outlines what you need to know for infrared
photography, how to shoot it, and how to
process it for stunning images.




The Landscape Class
Landscape Class
This is a three hour workshop that transforms
simple scenics into stories with ambiance and
context. It encompassing advanced compositional
techniques and the formulas to transform simple
snapshots into expressions of fine art.
