Seattle - Midnight Blue
Midnight blue was photographed using infrared.
I'm using a converted Nikon d7100 with the Nikkor 10-24 and 18-200 lenses. These lenses work extraordinarily well with infrared, and they produce sharp images. The key is focusing with live view on the back of the screen. The focusing sensor used through the viewfinder is calibrated for visible light, and although it is only millimeters from the camera sensor, it will produce out-of-focus images aimed at infrared.
