Eye to Eye - Mike Busby Photography

So I've been shooting macro shots of  insect over the last month. Bees and wasps have been the focus  because there's a ton of them in our back yard.

I noticed the three bumps on the top of the heads of the wasps, and found out they are considered simple eyes that are light sensitive. I found the wasps took off when my shadow crossed the eyes, but they let me get real close when I steered cleared of them. It doesn't happen all the time, but my success rate of getting close to them has improved.
